Artist Statement

As an artist, I feel a continuous urge to bring to life what I see. The process I use to create my artworks usually begins with a photograph I have taken, which becomes the central motif, but which ultimately is integrated into the overall painting. Using a new technique that I developed gives me endless opportunities and capabilities to
move forward as much as I want and, each time, bring my artwork to a higher place where I can hear the music play, and each time, the music is different from the one I heard before. I find inspiration in my daily life. As I go about my day, I’m drawn again to the smallest details of the natural world around me the straight lines of the pine needles crunching underfoot, the tiny flower that emerges from the soil.
