Artist Statement

I have been drawing since the age of three and continue to do so despite life’s obstacles. It is what I was put here to do. My work is primarily in acrylics but I also have an affinity for stippling in India Ink. I was raised in Mobile, AL and my Southern roots are reflected in a lot of my work. I am a self-taught artist. I love using bright bold colors as they excite and provoke me as well as the viewer.
