Artist Statement

I’m Russell Fennick. From the wide-open expanse of Lake Superior to the dense wilderness of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I capture sunrises, sunsets, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, forests and the occasional wild animal. I am inspired by the beauty of nature. Much of my time is spent outdoors from sunup to sundown, experiencing
scenes that many might miss during my everyday adventures in the woods or on the water, and even out my back door.
